Ray Estep serves as Managing Principal of RJE Partners, an advisory and consulting firm focused on achieving investor and management team goals for high growth technology, healthcare, hospitality and consumer product companies. He is also Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Transmira, Inc., a rapid growth B2B software company headquartered in the RTP area of North Carolina.

Ray is a long-standing coach and mentor to innovative and emerging companies on topics from start up through exit. In this capacity he partners with leadership teams and boards as interim CFO and strategic advisor helping guide and shape commercial offerings, competitive differentiation, capital raising, rapid growth, scale and talent development.

His background of 30 years includes CFO and M&A roles with venture backed companies, private equity sponsored entities and global leading organizations including Nokia, Bertelsmann and PwC. He has led company expansions for growth and development of 5 middle market companies that achieved successful exits for shareholders. Additionally, Ray has orchestrated M&A transaction value closings in excess of $1B.

Ray, an active CPA, holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. He currently resides in the DFW area and is an accomplished musician and drummer.
