Mujtaba Badat

Mujtaba joined Doximity (NYSE:DOCS) at <25 ppl and stayed about a decade until it was well over 1000 ppl (post-IPO). CS/stats background with experience in engineering, product, and growth roles. Most recently before I "retiring" in '23, he was Chief of Growth for Doximity's staffing business. In 202, he started a family office venture fund called Belal Badat Ventures w/ Ahmed Belal, also an early Doximity employee, to invest in digital health startups.

In 2024, he co-founded DxAngels, an investment syndicate of Doximity alumni, physicians, and health tech leaders to increase the capital they could infuse into the digital health ecosystem. Selfishly, the trio invests in companies to have an excuse to meet (and try to help) the best and brightest founders at the forefront of the industry.
