Before that, she was part of the leadership team at Gimlet Media and a reporter covering science, technology, business, and politics. She spent several of those years in Dallas-Fort Worth, where she first covered Health Wildcatters. Her work has appeared on NPR, Marketplace, and in The Atlantic.
