Don is a practical, executive-level leader interested in making a difference within organizations and maximizing the potential collective impact of people. He has deep experience in corporate strategy, structuring and executing successful complex corporate initiatives, manufacturing, and mergers and acquisitions.

As a partner-level consultant Don has led six and seven figure engagements in strategy development, M&A integration and executing complex corporate initiatives. Sample clients include Rogers Corporation (NYSE: ROG), CME Group (NASDAQ: CME), $1B healthcare services company Vizient, $3B senior health provider Golden Living, Andrew Corporation (now part of CommScope), medical device manufacturer Guidant Corporation (now part of Boston Scientific), Morgan Stanley, and 3M’s Medical Division (NYSE: MMM) among others. Don is co-author of After the Merger: The Authoritative Guide to Integration Success published through McGraw Hill. He served on the executive team of $35M in annual revenue Project Leadership Associates (now FlexManage), a professional services firm in Chicago which the team sold to a Private Equity firm in 2011.

Don’s industry experience includes time as an Industrial Engineer with Texas Instruments’ Defense Systems Group and as an executive over industrial engineering, safety and quality systems with Decibel Products, a $35M in annual revenue manufacturer which grew into Allen Telecom.

Don has facilitated dozens of board and executive team strategy sessions. He served on the Chicago and North Texas chapter boards of the National Association of Corporate Directors, a national organization focused on providing information and education to corporate directors. Don is an investor and director for Coffee and Dunn, a marketing automation services company and for Zenylitcs, an early stage speech analytics services company.

Don served as a Business Leadership Center Instructor at the SMU Cox School of Business in Dallas, TX and is a two-time recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award. He holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. He resides in Dallas, Texas.
