David is an accomplished CEO and Board member in consumer products, consumer services, and franchising. His experience includes stints as CEO of Massage Envy (the world’s largest spa chain), CEO and Vice Chair of ECP-PF Holdings Group (which builds and operates 115 Planet Fitness gyms across the U.S. and Canada), and President of Tree of Life (a billion-dollar distributor of natural and gourmet foods). He ran a consumer products division of Philips Electronics in Latin America and then led their e-Business and Consumer Relationship Marketing activities worldwide.

David currently serves on the Boards of Lantern Learning Group, Handel’s Ice Cream, Fortis Franchise Group, and Uni K Wax. He served as Chair of the International Franchise Association in 2023-24. A longtime angel investor, he has supported multiple startups in tech and tech-enabled fields, and he works with several private equity firms.
