Brad Phelan currently serves as President of GJ 627, Inc. where he focuses his consulting efforts on value creation and impact. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President of Technology Commercialization and Business Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) where he focused on engaging with UTSW students and faculty internally and entrepreneurs, investors and commercialization partners externally to support he advancement of research toward commercial application to positively impact patent lives. During Brad’s time at UTSW, commercialization efforts at UTSW were recognized as #1 in the State of Texas and #4 in the United States. A graduate of Baylor University (BBA in Real Estate & Finance) and The University of Arkansas (MBA in Entrepreneurship); Brad holds a Series 65 license and previously worked for JP Morgan Chase, on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, launched three companies and served as a fractional COO for entrepreneurs and ultra-high-net-worth individuals prior to joining UTSW.
