Andrew Offer joined Scientific Health Development in 2007 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and General Partner. Andrew currently serves on the board of directors for most active SHD portfolio companies including Podimetrics, Mindera Health, Empirical Spine, Liberate Medical, Arctx Medical, and several others. Prior, Andrew held board directorships with successful companies such as Sight Sciences (Nasdaq: SGHT), Channel MedSystems and Koya Medical. Additionally, Andrew has historically contributed as Chief Financial Officer for multiple portfolio companies. 

Mr. Offer graduated Magna Cum Laude with multiple honors distinctions, earning a B.B.A. in Finance from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University. In addition, Mr. Offer earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2009 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth.  Andrew is also a member of the Mid-America Health Investors Network (MHIN).

Andrew lives in Dallas with his wife Heather, twin children Averie and Bentley, and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities in his free time. Born in Chicago, Andrew is a loyal Cubs and Bears fan and tries to catch a game whenever possible.
